I took this shot whilst on an urban landscape photography course at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). My instructor for the day, David Nightingale had shot something similar to this a year ago and pointed me to the area where he shot it so I could have an attempt.
If you haven't worked it out already, this is a refection shot. My camera was hand held up against a window to my left to get this reflection. I took a couple of different exposures of the same shot which came in handy as the reflection side was a stop darker than the straight shot. So I manually blended the 2 exposures in Photoshop to match the image up. I quite liked the colour version after I had eventually managed to match both sides of the image but I really prefer architectural shots in Black & White as I feel the focus of my eye then follows the lines and not the colours.
